Healthy Turmeric Quiches
Healthy, tumeric quiches!
Hi mamas, I want to share with you this delicious recipe I whipped up the other day. Not only are they really healthy, but super yummy too. Even our 11 month old bub loves them!
We all know the benefits of turmeric are most impressive with its wide range of health benefits.
It is also loaded with many healthy nutrients such as protein, dietary fiber, niacin, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, potassium, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium and zinc.
With these ingredients, I made twelve all together, but you can adjust the amounts as you like.
You will need
One or two tbl spoon of turmeric (depending on your taste- the more the better I say)
Half a cup of milk
I used Talleys' frozen spinach portions and cooked roughly one per quiche so 12 altogether.
In a mixing bowl, crack 6 eggs and add the turmeric plus milk. Whisk together until thoroughly combined and frothy.
Grease your two muffin tins.
Steam your spinach in a pot. This should only take a few minutes at the most.
Place an even amount of spinach in each and add the egg mixture.
Fan bake at 120 degrees for 20 minutes. Then add the Parmesan and cook for a further 10 minutes or until cooked through.
