A Green Smoothie The Kids Will Love

What child doesn’t love a smoothie? They’re quick and easy to make, as well as being a perfect snack that doubles up as a healthy treat!

I love the fact that they’re a great way of getting extra fruit and veggies into your kids, especially those with fussy eating habits.

Plus you get to sneak a few “goodies” in, without any drama.

Summer Green Shrek Smoothie

This Summer Shrek Smoothie is a fantastic one to get your kids eating more greens and enjoying the fruits that are now in season.

1 cup of strawberries
2 mango cheeks
2 handfuls of baby spinach
2 cups of your preferred milk

Simply place all the ingredients in your blender and blend on a high speed until it becomes nice and creamy. Makes 2 large glasses or 4 smaller ones.

If they need to have breakfast on the run, simply add some raw cashew nuts to the blender to give them the extra protein that they need to set them up for their morning.
